Apollo Care utilizes environmental monitoring (EM) to
ensure that the cleanrooms and our workspaces
remain compliant. Using TSA and SABDEX media,
which monitor bacterial and fungal growth respectively,
we sample designated areas for growth. Air samples,
gravity plates, and contact plates are taken daily to
ensure our surfaces, personnel, and the surrounding
areas are compliant. These monitoring procedures serve
as an additional checkpoint for our cleaning procedures and garbing techniques.
Action and alert limits are assigned based on ISO certification. All samples with observed growth are sent in for microbial identification to track trends and discern possible sources of contamination.
